Formulate Review

So as y’all know… I love trying and using cruelty free products. Naturally it was a no brainer when I got the opportunity to try and customize my own shampoo and conditioner using my own unique characteristics with formulate. They let you pick a scent, even how strong you want your sent, what hair focuses you’d like and what goals you’d like to meet.

My hair

I used to have curly hair as a child, but it turned into a more wavy hair look. Which I’m totally ok with.. just my main focus has always been FRIZZ. We all have something we want to work on and frizz is my big one. Second is split ends 😭 which I feel self conscious about. Also I did mention about how my hair creates too much sebum (oil) that would be my other major concern. We all have different hair types so don’t think we all wake up with that vs bombshell hair. Maintaining wavy hair is a process and I’m sure some can relate.

Process and Review

The fact that someone created formulate to focus on each and everyone’s different hair type is an amazing thing. For me it makes them even more attractive that they are cruelty free, paraben free, sulfate free, and preservative free! It’s a new perspective on how we wash, focus and take care of our hair. All while changing how the worlds initiative to what we use and put in our hair.

Final thoughts… did it work for me!?

Yes it did! I see a difference in my frizz not causing many fly outs, (which I love!) I still have along way to go with my split ends but I did see a change. I feel my hair is smoother when I try to style it. I love the amount of product you get and the pumps work really well as they recommend the amount you should be using. I’ve had no issues. I’ve also seen my hair growth increase over the last 3 weeks. It’s amazing how this worked for me and what formulate focuses on to bring to the consumer. I can’t brag enough about how cool it is to focus on each individuals goals for their hair. We’re all just trying to figure out what works and what is it safe to put in our hair as we continue to grow. Formulate is safe and does work! Bonus their cruelty free! 💗 So thanks to Formulate!
