Outdoor Patio Chili Bar

Ending summer with some outdoor fun! Plus a good easy meal for the fam and requires not many dishes.

To start this patio party, here is what you’ll need to make your very own chili + includes incorporating a Texas Made Chili pre mix.

What you’ll need:

  • Ground Turkey 2lb
  • Casi Terlingua Chili Mix (Texas Brand)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic (pinch of each)
  • Half an onion (sweet or regular)
  • Diced tomatoes (fresh or can)
  • Ricos Premium Cheese
  • Ricos pickled jalapeños
  • Kidney beans (1 can)
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro for topping
  • Sour cream for topping
  • Fritos bags individual or large size

Now lets make some chili


First you want to chop your onion and add in your olive oil to your pan. Then once caramelized add in your ground Turkey. Let simmer while adding in some salt, pepper and garlic (eye ball this).

Next add in your 1 cup chicken broth and then mix in your diced tomatoes. Everything should be sizzling and By this time you’ll want to add in your chili mix. Mix and let simmer until finished.

Once finished, place chili in a large bowl with a spoon for folks to add to their own personal Fritos bag. They may add whatever toppings they want. Ricos cheese, Ricos jalapeños, cilantro shavings and sour cream they feel they would love with this delicious chili.

This recipe is so easy and the family will love this!! No sides needed. Not many dishes to clean either.

Enjoy this easy dinner idea out in the patio. If you don’t have a bar cart you can totally pull a small table outside and enjoy just the same.
