Welcome and happy Friday! So glad to introduce to you a new series I’ll be doing each month. With a HOW TO WEAR series.
Since we still have the end of January and full month of February to experience winter. I thought I’d share a black coat with you all and how to style it up for the winter season.
I finally got my hands on a oversized coat since I’ve been in need of one for quite sometime. Since black is a neutral it makes it easy to style in the winter and plus it’ll keep you warm.
Some of you may have one already but for those who don’t I’ll leave some options at the end. All super affordable and quite similar.
Black Faux Fur Teddy Coat
This black teddy coat is from f21, it does have buttons if I choose to bundle up well. I’m 5’2 and this coat hits me at my calves. Covering most of my body from the cold. It’s very cozy and I could see myself throwing on some leggings, a sweater, Ugg’s and a beanie to go for a more casual look in this. I did order a medium for a more oversized coat feel and it’s perfect.

Staples Pieces
For a easy go to look I went with my must have & versatile pieces, which are a black bodysuit and a black skirt. Making this an all black monochromatic look. Including the side bag which is old.
Ending with me my forever favorite otk boots! I absolutely have to break them out every winter here in Texas. They’re very affordable making them run for under $50. They stay up really well for long periods of time. Sitting or walking and they keep most of my legs warm on those chilly days here. 10/10 would recommended these. They do come in grey and a beautiful cognac option for the fall too.
